About
Built for the work between strategy and transition
The Exit Upgrade was created to solve a common problem: established business owners are frequently told what they need to improve, but few advisors have the technical and implementation resources to fix it.
The story
Success outgrows infrastructure.
A company can generate millions in revenue and still rely on spreadsheets, disconnected software, undocumented processes and the owner’s personal memory.
That does not mean it is a bad business.
It means the company’s infrastructure has not caught up with its success. The Exit Upgrade combines business systems, data, reporting, websites, CRM, automation and process documentation into one focused implementation service.
The objective is simple: make the business easier to operate, understand and eventually transfer.

Founder
Eric Provencio
Eric is a technologist and business builder with experience creating websites, analytics systems, data pipelines, CRMs, reporting platforms, internal tools and automated customer workflows.
His work has included
- Building and modernizing customer-facing platforms
- Creating executive and marketing reporting systems
- Implementing analytics and attribution
- Designing lead-management workflows
- Developing internal business applications
- Connecting fragmented systems and data
- Building automation and AI-assisted operations
The Exit Upgrade applies those capabilities to established owner-led businesses that need practical implementation—not another collection of recommendations.
Why this company exists
“Most established business owners do not have a strategy problem. They know the company depends too much on them, their reporting is fragmented and important processes are undocumented. The problem is that nobody actually implements the fixes. I created The Exit Upgrade to handle that work—bringing the company’s technology, reporting, lead management and operational documentation up to the level of the business itself.”
The Exit Upgrade is deliberately founder-led. Eric personally conducts every assessment and leads every modernization strategy. The person who diagnoses your systems is the same person accountable for fixing them—and the same person your advisors deal with from the first call to the final handoff.

Principles
How we work
Implementation over theory
Recommendations are only valuable when they become working systems.
Clarity over complexity
Technology should make the company easier to understand, not create additional confusion.
Transferability over dependence
New systems should belong to the business, not the consultant or an individual employee.
Measured improvement
Every engagement should create observable improvements in visibility, organization and owner independence.
Professional boundaries
The Exit Upgrade complements qualified legal, accounting, valuation, brokerage and financial advisors. It does not replace them.
Recommendations are cheap. Working systems are not.
